MediaPointXP
The MediaPointXP from Carlo Gavazzi Computing Solutions is a lowcost,
feature rich 1U media gateway solution for connecting 4 to 24 T1 or
E1 trunks into a VoIP network. Utilizing powerful media and packet processing
resources the MediaPoint XP performs the full range of voice processing
and signaling functions required to process voice and fax calls between the
PSTN and an IP network. In addition, the MediaPoint XP can support media
server functions for applications such as IVR, conferencing and call recording.
The MediaPoint XP is unique among other media gateway offerings
in that it can be confi gured and managed remotely through an enhanced
media gateway control application called XerXes NG.
Together, the XerXes NG enhanced media gateway control application
and the MediaPoint XP media gateway represent the industry’s most
complete and fully functional media gateway and server solution.
XerXes NG, developed by MDL Solutions Inc., is a Windows Server based
application that provides enhanced control functionality for connecting
calls between the PSTN and IP networks. XerXes NG, using the network
access and processing capabilities of the MediaPoint XP, provides
complete integration with PSTN protocols such as ISDN, CAS and SS7 as
well IP protocols such as SIP. XerXes NG is a turn-key solution that can be
deployed immediately into a VoIP services network but also provides an open
architecture for application specifi c customization through SQL and other
programming interfaces.

XP-SB Series
The XP-SB consists of a PCI host card and a 1U rack-mount chassis housing two or three PCI slots. A second chassis can be added for a total of four or six slots from a single host slot. The chassis connects to the host using two shielded CAT5 cables with RJ-45 connectors. The host and expansion unit can be placed 5 meters apart. Compliant with PCI 2.2 specifications, the XP2-SB supports 3.3V and universal voltage PCI cards. The XP3-SB supports 5V and universal voltage PCI cards. Now available with Low Profile Host Card.- PCI 2.2 compliant
